ChatGPT takes over the stock market š
and Google's AI search made an oopsie?
Hey Hey Soldiers,
This is the AI Dispatch Guy, and I am bringing some changes to the content format.
Till now, we've only focused on AI tutorials, but some of you complained it's not fun enough.
So, from now on, it will be a mix of the craziest things going on in AI + tutorials to 10X your AI skills.
In today's edition, we will cover how Google AI search is broken and how ChatGPT is taking over the financial market, and one ChatGPT tip at the end.

In the MIT Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy online short course youāll gain:
Practical knowledge and a foundational understanding of AI's current state
The ability to identify and leverage AI opportunities for organizational growth
A focus on the managerial rather than technical aspects of AI to prepare you for strategic decision making
1. Googleās AI Gets a Little Wacky! š¤
Google has implemented AI search which means when you ask a question, instead of giving you a list of webpages, itās gonna answer you outright along with the normal search we see.
And that didnāt work well. The internet is filled with screenshots of hilarious search info.
Some of the things it dished out:
Barack Obamaās religion: It messed up big time saying Barack Obama is Muslimānope, not true!
Geography: It forgot Kenya starts with 'K,' claiming no African country does.
Risky Advice: It suggested that a jump from the Golden Gate Bridge is a way to handle depression, taking this from a Reddit post. Yikes!
Glue on Pizza: When asked, Google said that you should put glue as toppings on a pizza. Not a very wise option for a topping, is it?
Take a look for yourself: šļø

Glue on pizza by Googleās Search AI
So whatās happening?
The problem where itās getting its info from.
Google did a 60m/year deal with Reddit to use the Reddit data to train its AI.
And Reddit is a weird place, full of satirical posts and jokes told with a straight face.
When AI going through the content, it often canāt tell if the OP is trolling or is it a normal sane post.
It just pulls out what it got.
Thatās how you get a suggestion like eating a burger with glue.
Good news is that the folks at Google have fixed this issue fast.
They assured these slips happen mostly with the weirder searches and arenāt what most users will see.
2. AI is taking over the stock market š
What if AI could invest my money to make me even more money. Seems like a pipe dream, right?
Well, not anymore.
The researchers in Chicago discovered that GPT-4 can be better at predicting the market than human experts.
Researchers gave GPT-4 some generic financial statements and told it to act as a financial analyst. And GPT-4 outdid itself.
Outpaced financial experts at predicting where the earnings are headed next.
Even compared to other models that are made for forecasting earnings, GPT-4 held its own, sometimes outperforming.
All of this without being trained on any special data. AGI soon?

ChatGPT being a Stock Market Analyst?
Now this is a big deal for two reasons:
-It levels the playing field massively, GPT-4 is $20/month.
-And after mainstream adoption, we may see big moves in financial markets, cause ChatGPT said so!
AI Tip Of The Week š”
Letās say you want to write something with ChatGPT but in a very specific tone.
Rather than asking ChatGPT to do it outright, first just let it do it in its style.
And then ask, ācan you rewrite it āXā way.ā
Why, even when ChatGPT is writing for the first time, it's really hard to get it to remove its ChatGPTness.
So, instead of asking it to change its writing style, write it like it would, then ask it to be an editor.
Works much better!
For example, look at this prompt below šļø
Input 1:
Task: Can you write about use of AI in marketing?
Condition: Do it in maximum 5 lines.
Output 1:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) in marketing revolutionizes how brands interact with consumers by personalizing experiences at scale through data analysis and machine learning. AI-driven tools enable precise targeting and segmentation, optimizing campaigns for better ROI and reducing wasted efforts. They also enhance customer engagement by predicting behaviors, automating responses, and delivering tailored content in real-time. Additionally, AI helps in sentiment analysis and market trend forecasting, giving businesses a competitive edge. Overall, AI in marketing boosts efficiency, improves customer satisfaction, and drives innovation.
Now tell it to rewrite.
Input 2:
Task: Can you now rewrite this in a friendly & funky way?
Condition: Do it in maximum 5 lines.
Output 2:
Hey there! AI in marketing is like having a superpower that lets you chat with each customer personally, but on a mega scale. Imagine throwing darts with laser precisionāAI helps you target your audience so accurately that every campaign feels like a bullseye. Itās like having a crystal ball too, predicting trends and customer moods, so you can always stay a step ahead. Plus, it automates all the boring stuff, letting you focus on crafting cool, custom content that pops. So, yeah, AI in marketing? Itās the secret sauce for amping up your game and keeping customers smiling!
